It's been so long but I've wallpapered the bedroom at last!

I finally got to use this beautiful original '40's paper from KTMiniatures,
probably the best miniatures site for 30's and 40's inspiration!

Most of the furniture is made from Jane Harrop kits,
another brilliant site,

not forgetting Dolly, my gorgeous miniature cat made by Josie -

there's still bits to finish but was so pleased with the wallpaper had to post!

It's been a while since I last posted, I've been quite busy with my Illustration
but recently I met a lovely lady called Josie on twitter who makes hats and
the sweetest felt animals.
Here are my cats Elvis and Dolly made by Josie, an incredible likeness
and the cutest little sausagedog!

Here's Josies website too!

My First Dolly

This is my first attempt at a dolly for my house.  I used a free pattern by Mimi Kirchner and scaled it down by over 40%!  I also used cloth instead of felt, although I think felt may have been easier.

Whilst searching for Mimi's pattern I came across a fantastic blog - Needlebook and Tiny handmade and was further inspired, Claire's dolls are amazing!

She's a little cobbled together ( I'm not a sewer) and I think I'd change the pattern next time and have a few less seams, but I hope that all adds to the charm :)
I added a drawn on stocking seam
